Understanding the Revolutionary Teeth in a Day Concept
Teeth in a Day does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s a tooth replacement treatment uniquely designed to replace a full arch of missing teeth in one day.
Replacing a full arch of missing teeth in one day is now possible
Traditional dental implants cannot be immediately loaded. But Teeth in a Day can.
Traditional and single dental implants require a process in which patients must wait 3 months for the implant to fuse with the bone before it can support a prosthetic for a missing tooth, such as a crown, bridge, or denture.

The Teeth in a Day procedure avoids the limitations of traditional replacement
Patients can walk in with a full set of missing teeth and leave with a restored arch the same day. The dental implants are the same, but the way they are placed is different.
Instead, they’re designed to be placed at a specific angle, which allows patients to bypass additional bone grafting and have a full set of teeth immediately loaded on the day of placement.
The treatment was developed by Nobel Biocare and is referred to in clinical settings as All-on-4 or All-on-6, which uses 4-6 dental implants to support a fixed bridge of up to 14 teeth.

One important note
While you’ll be able to walk away after All-on-4 placement with a full bridge of teeth, it’s important to understand that these are not permanent or final set. The benefit of this treatment is the immediate loading of temporary teeth, which will closely mimic your final set in terms of fit, function, and appearance.
Just like traditional placement, All-on-4 still requires 3 months for the implants to fuse with the underlying bone in your jaw. Once this period (referred to as osseointegration) is complete, you’ll be invited back into the clinic to have your temporary set switched with your final fixed bridge.
You can consider your temporary teeth as a trial phase for your final set. If there’s anything you’re unhappy with or would like to change, our dentists can make adjustments to your final teeth until you’re happy.
