Choosing to refer your patient to MyoDental for orthodontic treatment ensures a functional, developmental, and aesthetic approach under the care of Dr Michael Marshall, who has over 10 years of experience working with a wide range of brace and clear aligner systems for children, teens, and adults.

Our clinic also boasts incredible work with early intervention treatments, Myobrace systems and myofunctional therapy to treat both the symptoms and underlying causes of malocclusion.
Our focus is on long-term stability, airway function, correct jaw growth, habit correction and predictable orthodontic outcomes at every stage.
We provide:
Our approach to children’s orthodontics focuses on guiding natural growth and improving long-term outcomes, not just straightening teeth.

Following your referral, we’ll invite your patient in for a comprehensive orthodontic assessment to examine their bite, alignment, jaw growth, airway function and oral habits.
Dr Marshall will then develop a treatment plan that might include fixed braces, aligners, Myobrace systems or functional appliances, depending on the clinical need and stage of development.
At all times, you can expect Dr Marshall to maintain open communication with the referring clinicians, providing complete transparency and updates at every stage of care, so you can remain fully informed and involved.
We’ll ensure we deliver both functional and aesthetic outcomes while maintaining your clinical relationship with the patient.

We review your referral within 24 hours and prioritise based on clinical need and urgency.
Your patient is contacted and scheduled for a comprehensive orthodontic consultation to assess function and bite. We will also get in touch with the referring clinician to share our details and begin open communication between the two parties. At all times, you’ll have a direct point of contact.
We assess bite, alignment, jaw development, airway function and oral habits to determine the underlying causes of malocclusion and misalignment.
Options are discussed clearly with patients and parents, including braces, aligners, Myobrace or early functional intervention.
Treatment may include fixed braces, clear aligners, Myobrace systems, functional appliances and/or myofunctional therapy.
Your patient is returned to your care with a full clinical report, including implant details and aftercare guidance. At any time, you’re welcome to get in touch with Dr Marshall with any follow-up questions or concerns.
Once orthodontic treatment is complete, which can take a few months or a year, the patient is formally discharged back into your care with a full clinical summary report, including details of their diagnosis, treatment provided, any additional steps or refinements and our guidance for retention.
If, for any reason, you need us in the future, we welcome an open-door policy so we can continue to support your patients’ long-term orthodontic needs and address any questions you might have about providing them with care.
